Another exciting highlight last week: our very own Dave Stanley had the privilege of comparing the Yorkshire & Humberside Cyber Switch Up event at Sheffield Hallam University! 🎤👏
Cyber Switch Up is an innovative digital and cyber skills competition designed for students aged 11-18 (Key Stages 3, 4, and 5). This fantastic initiative is open to all secondary schools and colleges across Yorkshire and the Humber, inspiring the next generation of cyber professionals.
The event was extremely well designed and delivered by Yorkshire and Humber Regional Cyber Crime Unit (with special shout outs to, Claire A., Carl Galvin, and Richard Wallace, and Jags S) which aims to:
💡 Showcasing the digital and cyber skills & talent of students across Yorkshire & Humber
💡Educating and promoting digital & cyber pathways for higher and further education
💡Raising awareness of the diverse digital & cyber career opportunities available to young people
💡Promoting Cyber Choices messaging – encouraging positive and lawful cyber behaviours in young people
