Acceptable use/IT Systems use policy
The company provides access to IT systems to its users where relevant and useful for their jobs or training. This policy describes the rules governing the use of IT Systems at the company.

This policy should be read alongside other key (internal) policies such as the Disciplinary Policy

Anti-corruption and bribery statement
This anti-bribery policy exists to set out the responsibilities of the Company and those who work for us in regards to observing and upholding our zero-tolerance position on bribery and corruption.

It also exists to act as a source of information and guidance for those working for our Company. It helps them recognise and deal with bribery and corruption issues, as well as understand their responsibilities.

This statement sets out Grillatech’s actions to understand and eliminate all modern slavery risks and to put in place steps aimed at ensuring there is no slavery or human trafficking within our own business and our supply chains.

Business continuity plan policy statement
Grillatech is totally committed to the principles and practice of a business continuity and disaster recovery plan. Since they are aligned in the principle of keeping the business running in the event of an incident, this business continuity plan is referenced in the disaster recovery plan and vice-versa.

Since the business needs to keep running in the event of an incident, it is important to realise that having a contingency plan to ensure ongoing business gives Grillatech a competitive advantage. This policy requires management to financially support and diligently attend to business continuity planning efforts.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) statement
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the concept whereby organisations Integrate social and environmental concerns into their business operations and into their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis. It is extended to treating employees, customers and any people we are in contact with fairly and equally.

Grillatech are fully committed to the principle of CSR and intends that CSR should become embedded, where appropriate, into its policies and practices to the benefit of staff as well as the wider community.

Data breach policy statement
Grillatech is totally committed to the principles and practice of a breach response process.

The purpose of the policy is to establish the goals and the vision for the breach response process. This policy will clearly define to whom it applies and under what circumstances, and it will include the definition of a breach, staff roles and responsibilities, standards and metrics (e.g., to enable prioritisation of the incidents), as well as reporting, remediation, and feedback mechanisms. The policy shall be well publicised and made easily available to all personnel whose duties involve data privacy and security protection.

Data protection policy
GrillaTech is committed to being transparent about how we collect and use the personal data of our workforce, and in the course of our business operations, in accordance with our data protection obligations and any relevant domestic laws or related policies.

This policy applies to the processing of personal data in manual and electronic records kept by the Company in connection with its human resources function as described below. It also covers the Company’s response to any data breach and other rights under the General Data Protection Regulation.

Disaster recovery plan policy statement

Grillatech is totally committed to the principles and practice of a business continuity and disaster recovery plan. This policy defines the requirement for a baseline disaster recovery plan to be developed and implemented by Grillatech that will describe the process to recover IT Systems, Applications and Data from any type of disaster that causes a major outage.

Health and safety statement
The Company fully accepts the obligations placed upon it by the various Acts of Parliament covering health and safety. The Company requires its Managing Director/Company Owner to ensure that the following policy is implemented and to review annually on its effectiveness.

This policy has been prepared and published under the requirements of Health & Safety at Work legislation. The purpose of the policy is to establish general standards for health and safety at work and to distribute responsibility for their achievement to all managers, and other employees through the normal line management processes.

Whistleblower (confidential reporting) policy statement
The Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 (PIDA) amended the Employment Rights Act 1996 (“the Act”) to create a framework for whistleblowing across the private, public and voluntary sectors. The Act provides individuals in the workplace with protection from victimisation where they make a protected disclosure about malpractice or wrongdoing at work in accordance with the Act’s provisions. Grillatech is committed to the principles and best practice of The Act.
